Technical Service Representative
Travel Position

 As a Technical Service Representative, you will be supporting SE customers with technical issue resolution and training. The TSR works as a team with the Service Manager, Account Manager, and other TSR’s promoting and fostering the use of SE products with customers directly.


Responsibilities:

  • Responding to customer phone calls, callouts, and field dispatches

  • Providing preventive equipment maintenance and inspections

  • Machine commissioning including technical training on new/rebuild equipment installations

  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, and reporting of all in the field failures

  • Repairing equipment and replacing faulty parts as required

  • Meeting with the customer to determine the nature of the parts and services needed

  • Encouraging the customer to use SE products by highlighting the qualities, advantages, and benefits of the product lines and parts offered by SE

  • Maintaining equipment stock and tooling in the company vehicle

  • Timely completion of all post job duties including, but not limited to service reporting and timesheets

  • Maintaining a strong customer relationship through a positive, initiative-taking & professional approach

  • Mentorship, development, and guidance of less experienced peers

  • Safe & compliant performance of all activities in line with SE and our customer's EHS guidelines

  • Maintaining integrity to ensure compliance with state/federal regulatory agencies as well as customers alike

  • Referencing manuals for part numbers, assisting customers with parts orders, and ordering parts needed for field repairs

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
     

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or relevant technical certificate

  • Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule and locations

  • Excellent time management, mechanical, electrical, and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication and training skills

  • Physically fit and able to work with heavy equipment

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • 2 Year Technical Training or at least 5 years of experience in service/repair of mining equipment. • MSHA underground qualification
